IWCSW Volunteer Appreciation event

The volunteer appreciation event held on Saturday 18th April was a truly memorable occasion dedicated to recognizing the invaluable contributions of our volunteers.

A simple yet impactful message displayed during the event - “Thank you for your hard work and dedication” - aptly captured the spirit of the day.

Organized by Tiffany and Linda, the event featured a lively, carnival-like atmosphere that brought energy and warmth to the celebration. 45 volunteers and 15 members were treated to a wide spread of sumptuous food, along with engaging games and quizzes that added to the overall enjoyment.

Guest of Honour Ms Denise Phua delivered an inspiring speech centred on the “3 Ss” in life: Survival, Success, and Significance. Drawing on Singapore’s journey, she encouraged everyone to go beyond personal achievements and strive towards making meaningful contributions to family, friends, and the wider community, ultimately leaving a lasting legacy.
