Celebrating Mothers, Creating Memories

Laughter, creativity, and heartfelt moments filled the afternoon as members of Inner Wheel Club of Singapore Central brought a special Mother’s Day celebration to the residents of Singapore Council of Women's Organisation’s - Star Shelter on 31 May 2026.

Sponsored and organised by the club, the event was designed to give mothers and their children a joyful opportunity to relax, connect, and celebrate together. While the children immersed themselves in imaginative LEGO play, the mothers explored their creative side by crafting beautiful origami flowers. The excitement continued with a lively game of charades that had mums and children working together, sharing plenty of smiles and laughter along the way.

A delicious lunch, generously sponsored by our club, brought everyone together and added to the festive atmosphere. As a token of appreciation, each mother received a personal care gift pack and a handcrafted pen, while the children were delighted to take home DIY art packs and handcrafted pens of their own.

The celebration was a wonderful reminder of the power of community, kindness, and shared experiences. Most importantly, it created treasured memories for the mothers and children of Star Shelter, while giving our members the privilege of being part of an afternoon filled with joy, friendship, and hope. Everyone left with happy hearts, making it a truly memorable Mother’s Day celebration.
