A Beacon of Hope

In a heartfelt demonstration of solidarity, the Inner Wheel Club of Singapore Central (IWCSC) recently donated and distributed groceries to the residents of Star Shelter Singapore, a sanctuary dedicated to women and children survivors of domestic abuse. This initiative aligns seamlessly with the global "Orange the World" campaign, which strives to eliminate violence against women and girls.

Established by the Singapore Council of Women's Organisations (SCWO), Star Shelter provides a safe haven for women and their children fleeing domestic violence. Beyond shelter, residents receive psychological support, legal assistance, and access to programs that enhance financial literacy and employability, fostering independence and resilience.
