IWCS Celebrating 79 Years of Friendship & Service

The Inner Wheel Club of Singapore marked its 79th Anniversary on 17 November with a warm gathering at Just BrewIn Café. Attended by 17 members and guests, the three traditional toasts were led by IPDC Maria Hassanbhai, PP Roshan Mistri, and PP Amina. Nelly Doctor lit the Candle of Friendship. The Café is a Social Enterprise run for families of those in prison.

The Club was pleased to host guests Sophie Cull from the Inner Wheel Newport Pagnell branch in Oxford, as well as Irene and Lily. Irene demonstrated creative flower arrangement with up-cycled materials, while Madhushree spoke about her experience attending AWARE’s Sexual Assault First Responder Training, highlighting the importance of support and awareness.

The silent auction of flower arrangements raised $300, and Maria added to the fundraising with plants and accessories, contributing another $110. A grower arrangement brought in an additional $300. We were also delighted to welcome our newest member, Priyanka, into the club.

The celebration marked a meaningful milestone for Inner Wheel Club of Singapore.
