Inner Wheel celebrates Diwali with NeuGen Families

Our Diwali Celebration on 11th October 2024 @Just Brewing Café was a delightful event, well attended by a dedicated team of 10 volunteers and close to 45 participantsor 19 families from our NeuGen beneficiaries. The evening was filled with joy, festive activities, and delicious food, creating the spirit of the celebration. 

The project began with meticulous planning by Divya and her dedicated subcommittee, and some peek into the insider area of planning:

The event space was divided into three areas for breakout activities, including an icebreaker that had a lot of members participating, a craft activity for painting Diwali divas that were colourful had the youngest Daughter of the President Divya, guiding little kids with Adult volunteers in charge and creating fun and games, along with a sparkly adorable light ppt presentation on the festival in the meeting room.

After a warm meet-and-greet upon arrival, the activities were enjoyed by all, and festive dinner was served around 8 PM with Diwali Sweets as deserts. Each family received a goodie bag filled to the brim with thoughtful Diwali gifts. The venue was beautifully decorated, featuring a stunning photo wall adorned with flowers and vibrant Rangoli designs, creating a festive atmosphere that had both adults and kids   feeling cheerful and spirited.

A week later, the feedback form sent by the NeuGen organization was incredibly encouraging highlighting the joy we brought to the families, reminding us of the meaningful connections we fostered. We are truly grateful to our Club for this opportunity to serve.
