IWC Singapore Members in Action: Championing Inclusion and Women’s Voices
July was a month of meaningful engagement and service for IWC Singapore. Our members stepped up on both local and international platforms — championing causes that reflect the very core of Inner Wheel’s mission.
On July 19, 2025, Hon. Secretary Jeeveetha proudly volunteered at the Merlion Cup for the Disabled, a major sporting event that welcomed para-athletes from Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Australia. Working closely with District Chairman Rati Asrani, Jeeveetha provided hands-on support to international para-athletes. From assisting with wheelchair mobility, helping athletes to the toilets, serving drinks, to holding umbrellas during the outdoor events—they carried out her duties with heart and dedication. Her service was a true reflection of compassion in action, and she made the entire IWCS community proud.
Advancing Women’s Causes: IWCS at SCWO’s Focus Group Discussion
Continuing the Club’s efforts, Past President Preeti Bhatnagar and Hon Secretary Jeeveetha represented IWC Singapore at the Members Focus Group Discussion hosted by the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations (SCWO) and facilitated by PwC on July 22, 2025.
This session brought together representatives from five women-led organisations to discuss SCWO’s long-term strategy and future relevance. Topics discussed included addressing the evolving needs of women, strengthening community outreach, and tackling a common challenge—membership retention across non-profit organisations.
As the SCWO charts its next phase, we are excited to see how insights from this session will shape its growth and relevance—and proud that IWC Singapore was part of this vital conversation.
